Biography

He was born in 1979 Batman, Turkey. He has published a book of poetry in Turkish.

He studied Modern Turkish Poetry and Iranian Cinema.

His poems and articles on film and literature criticism have appeared in several magazines.

His first poetry book is in the name of ‘Duse Yagmalanan Hayal Kuyusu’ has been published in 2002

His second poetry book is in the name of  ‘Bir olunun defteri’ has been published in 2011.

His translation poems from F.G.Lorca and Sohrab Sepehri in the name of ‘Akdenizdeki Çöl’ has been published 2011.

He has two Master Degrees; One of them is from Cinema from Tehran Art Univercity, Iran and the other one is from Modern Turkish Literature from Van Yuzuncuyil Univercity, Turkey.

He wrote and directed several short films at New York Film Academy, US.

Now he gives lectures on poetic cinema, and built short film workshops at foundation of Science and Art(Bilim ve Sanat Vakfi..www.bisav.org.tr. Beside that, he organize programs on Turkish cinema and short films at Istanbul Municipality cultural centers…

He took ‘screenplay support’ fund from Cultural Ministry of Turkey for his ‘Crossroad’ script. Now he is trying to start for production of this film.
